Weed Spraying
Thank you for your excellent work in our garden. The young boys who cut the grass do a very good job and we are delighted with their work every time.
WinnieWe have a very experienced and qualified team of staff, who are licensed to spray chemicals, and hold NPTC PA1 and PA6 knapsack sprayer, including myself and three of our full-time staff. I also personally hold PA2 tractor boom sprayer for spraying larger areas.
As we are qualified, and therefore licensed, we are able to purchase and apply a chemical that may only be purchased by a licensed person, which is a more powerful chemical and has a much better success rate than a general pesticide bought from the local garden centre.
We are always happy to provide our licences on request, if required.
We carry out both commercial and residential weed-spraying application mostly applying round-up to kill all vegetation, whether it’s spot-spraying on the gravel or blanket spraying the whole area to kill all vegetation.
We also regularly carry out selective weed-spraying, mostly on sports fields, where we use the boom sprayer to kill weeds in the grass, such as daisy, dockans, buttercup, etc, but not harming the grass. Sometimes we carry this method out on private lawns using a knapsack.
If required, with the right chemical, we can also treat aphids or other pests on roses, for example, or other ornamental bushes and plants.
