Grass Seeding

Grass-seeding is a major part of the business, and we have been lucky enough to have been involved in some major projects in Orkney over the past 18 years. We have sown in the region of 1,000 properties, mainly at most of the new social houses built in the last 15 years, private new-builds, Rendall football pitch, the new Balfour hospital,new Stromness care home and most recently in 2024 the overhauled Holm Football pitch.

We have a vast array of machinery from stoneburriers and rotovators, both walk-behind and tractor-mounted, several stonerakers and seeders which enables us to undertake the work efficiently and properly.
